ReplyDeleteIt would appear that we have been banned from posting on Charles Barton's "Nuclear Green" blog. This for having the temerity of questioning the dogma of CO2-caused AGW. As I tried to post, but was deleted, it has been Charles who brings the climate discussion into the fore, not "trolls" looking for a fight.
He, and so many of the pro-nuclear cadre, are wedded to the hysteria surrounding AGW and, like you, I have warned against the hitching their pro-nuke energy stance to the AGW wagon. To me, that is a losing combination due to the inevitable weakness of the AGW position. I am involved in the solar arena and am not an engineer, just an informed observer of energy issues.
So, assuming I am persona non grata, I will still read his posts for their informational value, but also consider the source on some of his comments. He seems to think Alvin Weinberg was God. No doubt Weinberg was very smart, but I think God would beg to differ as to Weinberg's omniscience.
