I was not convinced.<br /><br />Then a story in <a href="http://thoriumenergy.blogspot.com/2009/06/enterprise-visits-dead-planet.html">Energy From Thorium</a> made me change my mind.<br /><br />I'm kind of a sceptic on this so I intend to go at it from the point of view of: what are the problems, can they be solved? What are the risks? Are they acceptable? I was trained and qualified as a nuclear reactor operator by the US Navy so I do know my way around this sort of thing. In addition a lot of work on fission and fusion are similar.
